A daily fight against TIME.
How can we end up our days with the impression that we lack of time?
This is common, when we are overwhelmed, to think about how we would manage our time if we had some (more). Usually that’s when we project ourselves more than ever. But when we reach that free time, we don’t how to deal with it, and we struggle to take actions. We convince ourselves that we can’t do this or that activity, ending up scrolling our social networks news feeds without taking benefit of that free time.
MOTION
Why don’t we have enough time? One part of the answer would be because of the feeling of having to catch up this time. In fact, because we are not organized. This is a key aspect as organization doesn’t stand for filling-up one’s calendar to be overwhelmed… Getting into a real mode of organisation means first to be aware of the global vision we have over the day/week/month and to be decided what to with it.

In order to have time, we need a clear and adapted organisation, without being constraining, or the risk of failure is really high.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF TIME
A main idea about how to organise oneself would be to explains what are the different types of time. Knowing what kind of types compose our days would be a first step to understand objectively of what is made our daily time.
- The professional time. It is related any seconds used to win a certain amount of money (short/long term). It can either be a fixed amount (the salary from an employee) or the variable incomes generated: any time that adds value (financial resource). If the final goal is to get a remuneration, it enters such category.
- The personal time. With such notion, there is usually a relative productivity matter but not seen as a constraint. It can be holidays, call a friend or play video games. As long as this activity is not lived as a chore, it can fit into this category. According to people, the activity that you put inside will defer. It generates pleasure but without any more gains.
- The time for oneself. This is not the same than the previous one. This is usually the concept of time that is sacrificed what this is surely one that matters the most. This is about the acquisition of a new skill or knowledge: read a book, play an instrument, practising sport or yoga… It can also deal with meditation or spirituality. In fact, it makes grow.
- The mandatory time. It covers the trips to go to work, household chores, administrative tasks… For these ones, you might feel dissatisfaction. It also deals with hygiene, meals, sleep.
- Last but not least, the “non-time”. It can be a smoke break, scrolling through social feeds, or spend 30 minutes on ones phone wile you took it to look to a specific information.
By knowing those time notions, we can go through the balance in our daily lives. The idea is to reduce the “non-time” that are clearly the less productive and sometimes, the ones for which we will feel guilty...
Time is invaluable, why do we let people waste it ?
